The Guardians of the Galaxy responded to the call for Thor’s rescue, and they do a great job after which Thor exclaims that Thanos is after the reality stone. Stone’s keeper Red Skull tells Thanos that he can keep the infinity stone only if he sacrifices someone he loves. So Thanos kills Gamora and acquires the stone.
Half of the population across the world was disintegrated, and Thor is left on the Wakandan battlefield. Meanwhile, Thanos watches sunrise somewhere remotely.
