The series of stranger things is inspired by a real story called ‘Montauk’ originally where there was a US Military program that included experiments on children involving mind reading, mind control, and time travel. Although a true story inspires it still it is a fictional tale.
The concept of an alternate reality has always fascinated everybody however the tearing apart of the fabric and connecting it to the upside down and making a solid tie between the reality.
The setting of the story is based in the fictional town of Hawkings, Indiana in the year 1983. this season begins with the disappearance of Will Byers a kid from this small town. This season introduces all the major characters including Dustin, Mike, and Lucas, who are also gang members of Will Byers who play dungeons and dragons together.
