by Max and Marianne (Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard) who are wartime soldiers are sent to Casablanca to kill a Nazi official. Soon their fate changes after they fall in love during their risky expedition. Max suspects Marianne of being a spy, mistrust and danger surround their marriage as the couple is pitted against one another in a potentially catastrophic test. This movie portrays war scenes and of course Pitt’s trademark charm in his military roles. The story keeps one on the edge by giving an impression of a contented family and a couple’s love that grows against the backdrop of vendetta and bloodshed, which is eventually followed by the fear that it might all be just a front.
