Me before you is a romantic comedy adapted from a book of the same name by Jojo Mayers. Will had it all, a successful investment banking career, active sportsman and a beautiful girlfriend. His life changed after a motorcycle hit him, leaving him tetraplegic. Will is insufferable, resentful and apathetic after the incident often reminiscing his past life. Louisa his caretaker is chirpy, comically optimistic and full of life, determined to make the best out of every situation. Will is cold and bitter towards her at first, often mocking her in a sarcastic tone hoping she would eventually quit, but Lou is hopeful and persists.
Nevertheless, despite these relatively minor hiccups, Will finds himself falling deeply in love with her. Me before you released in 2012 can be streamed on Amazon Prime.
