Togetherness is an American comedy drama series directed by the Duplass Brothers. It depicts the lives of 4 adults navigating through life in Los Angeles. Brett and Michelle, a married couple with two children are struggling with their marriage. They fear this is all life has to offer them, while being stuck in their endless loop of mundane day to day activities. Brett’s best friend and Michelle’s elder sister Tina are navigating their paths in life. They are confused, cynical, lonely and hopeless in life, afraid they will not find themselves.
It is a story about four very different people facing similar existential problems and uncertainty in their adulthood, figuring out life together. It is released in 2015 and can be streamed on Netflix. With its raw humor and relatability, it is a must watch.
