Hush is an American psychological horror movie. Maddie Young is a deaf and mute best-selling author. She escapes the bustling life of New York to live in a cabin in the middle of woods to focus on her writing. Her neighbor Sarah visits her occasionally to exchange books. On her way back Sarah is killed by a mystery man, but her screams for help go unheard. Maddie’s peaceful life is disrupted when she realizes that she is being stalked by a killer. The killer breaks into her house, cuts the telephone line, slashed her tires so that she has nowhere to escape and asks for help. It is a test of time; will she outsmart the masked killer or will he get to her. Without her sense of hearing and voice will she even escape this tumultuous situation.
